Q.  Why do I need a survival kit?

A.  A one person survival kit is designed to last one person for 72 hours.  A two person survival kit is designed to last two people for 72 hours.  We provide twice the amount of food and water compared to other suppliers and our food and water products have a 5-year shelf life.

Q.  Where should I keep my survival kit?

A.  Every member of the family should keep a survival kit in a handy and accessible place.  Most of our customers keep their survival kits in the house, the car, the office, on the boat, or in the vacation home.  You should consider keeping a survival kit in any place where you are frequently.

Q.  How many disasters are there every year?

A  Each year, the American Red Cross responds immediately to more than 70,000 disasters, including house or apartment fires, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, hazardous material spills, transportation accidents, explosions, and other natural and man-made disasters.  That means on average, there are almost 200 disasters EVERY DAY in the United States.  Can you afford to not Be Prepared Today?

Q.  What specifications do you use to make your kits?

A.  We produce realistic first aid, disaster, emergency and survival kits following recommendations by the U.S. Coast Guard, FEMA, and the Red Cross.  Nowadays, people are aware of the low quality cheap survival kits so we understand the importance of providing our customers with a survival pack that contains all the products families would need to comfortably stand firm against any disaster situation. 

Q.  I already have a survival kit but I need to add a couple of items. Do I have to buy a full survival kit or can I buy individual products?

A.  We carry individual emergency preparedness products that you can add to your existing survival kit.  Please feel free to buy a single item that you need or a complete survival kit that we package with a backpack.

Q.  How long does it take to ship me my survival kit?

A.  We ship all orders out within 2-5 business days. We often are able to make same day shipments for no additional charge. Some times shortages may occur with products. If there are circumstances where we do not have an item to fulfill an order, we will notify you by the next business day. We will either ship the products we do have and then make a second shipment for the missing items as soon as we receive them, or we will wait to ship the entire order together to lower the shipping charges. Please note that it is rare that this will occur but uncontrollable circumstances may cause shortages.

Q.  Do you guarantee your survival kits?

A.  We at First Aid Emergency Kits make it a goal to leave a customer satisfied. We work hard to make sure that every order is correct and sent out in a timely manner.  If the item(s) is defective, we will replace the item and pay for the return shipping. Only the item will be replaced; not the entire survival kit. Food and water products can not be returned to be re-sold according to law, therefore refunds for food and water products will not be issued.
